from the more commercial portion of town. Made up of small cottages, manor houses, and shops this area of
town has become a large tourist attraction for its picturesque setting. Cobblestone streets, stone and

LOCAL BUSINESSES - THE TOWN
The commercial district of Godric's Hollow is simply called The Town,
having been built at the edges of Godric's Hollow as its population increased.
The area with the largest population, multiple neighbourhoods co-exist with commercial sections,
the brightest being the Renaissance Mall, an open air commercial space that holds some of the
most popular stores not only in town, but in England. This area also supports the local,
government and emergency responders. Neighbourhoods vary in size and price point as well
as architecture. For more information, see the housing entry.
RENAISSANCE MALL
Commissioned as part of Tom Riddle's political campaign, the Renaissance Mall was completed in August 2010 after sitting unfinished for five years. Tax breaks were promised to businesses to convince them to open inside the complex. After a year, the mall has been a great success although many store fronts remain empty. Those inside the mall have seen a great profit, although residents have seen an increase in their own taxes to compensate for the breaks provided to the businesses.
